np: bitter sweet - dirty laundry

this song is the coolest thing i've heard in a while. thanks karn!! but it makes me miss singing quite a lot. especially musicals with choreography.

its been a good week so far. no pracs, mostly lectures, and tmr's the last day before easter break. yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay!! went for dinner with mel, esther and val tonight. thai food which was yummy. had gelato after that. it was our one day of the week splurge. plus esther's going back to sgp for easter, so it was like a send off dinner of sorts. haha anyway it was damn good. wednesday night and we were standing in the park talking and eating ice cream like it was a holiday.

i highly recommend the following book: 'In the country of men' by Hisham Matar.

it is the story of a nine year old Libyan boy living/embroiled in the tyrannical regime of Muammar al gaddafi in late 1970s-early 1980s. even if you're politically apathetic like me, you will not be put off by this book. the politcal aspect is never really openly talked about and gaddafi is never referred to by name, but the political situation casts this oppressive shadow over the book. its so well written, and sad, and moving...and i just cant describe how you would feel after reading it. it is a magnificent book if you ask me.

it was one of the nominees for the man booker prize last year. how kiran desai won when this book was in the running is completely beyond me.

i'm starting to think that i wont be spending my easter break studying. this is dangerous. i'm hoping the libraries in school remain open cos there's no way i can study at home what with the internet and tv distracting me.ive found a new, really good site for watching tv shows. ugly betty, grey's, heroes, YOU NAME IT THEY HAVE IT!!! AAAAAAAAAAHHH why did i have to find it just before test week.

champions league tmr morning. liverpool thrashed psv this morning...bayern and milan drew. hope man u wins...and valencia as well.

its cold...i'm tired...i have nothing else to say...except, READ IN THE COUNTRY OF MEN!!
